Leather Skiver

Skivers are indispensable when it comes to joining straps securely, or when folding edges on thick leathers. The CB801 & CB802 will slice a smooth taper onto the edges of leather pieces, allowing a smooth lap joint with no increase in thickness.

Bevelling the edges of workpieces of many shapes and sizes for the purpose of joining the pieces perfectly (without thickening of the material at the joints) by means of vulcanization or adhesion. Also, making grooves to facilitate the folding of edges of elastic or certain rigid materials. A vacuum suction device is available as an option.
